Illustrator: edited pdf file is saved with additional size and cut marks

Hello!

Issue: i'm editing a pdf as i wish to, but upon saving it has additional space around it and cut marks. How can i set assembly area so it has zero additional space and no new cut marks?

Here is where you will find your marks and bleeds in the PDF save options :

If they were already present in the PDF when you opened up the PDF in Illustrator you will have to re-adjust the artboard to the size you need and/or physically delete the trims. Hope this helps
