illustrator.exe - Entry Point Not Found

Hi guys, i recently installed the adobe illustrator cc 2018 on my windows 8.1 OS PC. The installation went fine. Only to launch the program and it read this error.

'illustrator.exe - entry point not found' - The procedure entry point_invalid_parameter_noinfo_noreturn could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2018\Support Files\Content\Windows\SVGRE.dll.

what can i do to solve this please? Thank you.

There is a problem with the installation. Uninstalling and reinstalling Illustrator will probably not solve it. You're more likely to be successful if you download the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool and follow the instructions on this page Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
