Illustrator Export to Screens EPS file type duplicating artboard name

Hi there,

 

I'm exporting EPS files from Illustrator using the Export for Screens option. I have used a prefix to include in the file name but on export, the name of the artboard is duplicated.

 

For example, the prefix is "group-icon-white-" and the artboard name is "alarm". So the file name should be "group-icon-white-alarm.eps". Instead, it is generating as "group-icon-white-alarm-alarm.eps".

 

Has anybody else experienced this issue? It doesn't happen with PNG or SVG file types, only EPS.

      This is happening to me as well. Adobe is up to date, mac OS 14.7.4 (23H420)

      I tried replicating this behavior on my end but could not. Would you mind sharing the OS/Illustrator version, a sample file and a screen recording of your exact workflow and the problem so I can try and check it on my end?
