I have been working on a AI. File for a couple weeks now and have always saved it to cloud. I haven't had any issues with it syncing and saving my recent work and being able to access it again. However, I didn't touch it for maybe 2 days and I came back onto my illustrator today to find the file hasn't saved since 13 days ago. Thats two weeks of work just disappeared. Its for an assessment and I really need it. I've tried everything, its not in my deleted files, I can't revert the files. Its like its just disappeared.
Has this happened to anyone before?

Hey @David29877495dawk,
Sorry for the delayed response. I understand how distressing it can be to find that your AI file hasn't been saved for the past two weeks, especially when it contains important work for an assessment. Losing weeks of work is incredibly frustrating.
Would you mind checking the file Version History in Creative Cloud?
For AIC Cloud Document: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/open-revert-cloud-document-version.html
For Creative Cloud file: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/versioning-faq.html
See if there are any previous versions available to restore.
The saving process for cloud documents is automatic; files get saved as soon as you close the app. Unless there was a network issue or the system or app was closed abruptly before the file could save and sync to the cloud.
Also, Monika has repeatedly emphasized the importance of saving our work frequently and maintaining a few backup copies to prepare for any unforeseen circumstances. I have incorporated this into my workflow and suggest you do the same.
I hope you can retrieve your file successfully. Please let us know if you have any other questions or need further assistance.
Best regards,
Anshul Saini
