Illustrator freezes when exporting

I am having issues with Illustrator CC 2017 every time I go to export to jpg or png it freezes, can someone help?

Does it freeze immediately or only after you choose a volume?

Did it ever work?

Which system?

Does that happen with any file? Or just specific ones?

When did you last restart the computer?

What width and height si your document, what resolution did you choose, do you have extra artboards? What OS are you on,  reset your prefs.
