Illustrator freezes when opening

I just updated to v 26.0.3 and Illustrator is freezing when I try to open.

MacOS Big Sur 11.6.

First time I've had a problem with an Adobe product in decades. I can't work, so this is a problem. And I've paid lots of money to Adobe to have programs that work.

Hi try to remove this and install a full setup latest version and make sure all other apps updated some bugs are notice of Adobe team so hope all things will be fixed soon...regards

I haven't been able to use Illustrator for two weeks. I've reinstalled the new version three times. Launches, then freezes. Can't do anything. This is how I make my living. I've been paying Adobe a lot of money for over 25 years to use these products. I'm now installing the oldest available version, but I've tried this in the past two weeks and have had the same problem. Any word on an update or a fix?
