Illustrator frozen - how do i make sure i dont loose unsaved work

If i have started working on an illustrator file but have not ever saved it anywhere yet and illustrator has frozen, what can I do so that my work isn't completely lost!!??

If you're lucky, Illustrator has a recovery file. But that happens only if you're lucky.

When Illustrator is relaunched and asks youtorecover, you have todo that immediately otherwise the file gets deleted.

 

Apart from that: save your files. Just do it.

If you can't remember to save, then maybe install the plugin Autosaviour Free.
