Illustrator issues while running Siemens Teamcenter

I use Illustrator for technical illustration. I usually have Teamcenter running so I can have the model of what I'm working on loaded in NX11. The problem is that with Teamcenter running, Illustrator lags severely. It takes minutes to open a new or existing file and while navigating the file or doing art, the system will lag. This is a brand new install on a brand new HP Z4 workstation with 4GHz Xeon processor, 32 Gb of RAM and an SSD Drive.

Does anyone else here run Teamcenter with Illustrator and have similar issues?

    We are sorry to hear about this. I would request if you can share a few more details like:

    • Operating System( Exact version of Windows)
    • Version of Illustrator
    • Is it happening after the latest update?
    • Was it working fine with the older version?
    • Version if Siemens Teamcenter.
    • Does Siemens Teamcenter also lag while working on Illustrator?

    Windows 10 Pro for Workstations- should be the most current up to date.

    Illustrator CC 2019 23.0.1

    It happened with Illustrator CC 2018 as well.

    Teamcenter Version 11.0

    I have not noticed Teamcenter lagging, but I don't work much in the Teamcenter program. We use NX 11 for all of our modeling. I have to have Teamcenter running to load our models and associated drawing pages from our server. I prefer to have Teamcenter and NX open so that I can have the model open that I am doing drawings for. I may need a different view pulled, I may need to rotate the model of highlight parts so I can better call them out.

    The  exact program I have running is Teamcenter 4-Tier Rich Client 11.

    NX 11 does NOT lag at all when I have it and Illustrator open.

    If there is any other info you need, I can provide it. I have co-workers who are running into the same issues. We are all running the same programs and Versions.
