Illustrator keeps going into full screen

it is infuriating, as i toggle between Apps (ALT-TAB) many times when i get back to illustrator it decides to go into fullscreen mode, and the annoying part is that i have to click "F" Multiple times to get it to the normal mode.

Any idea why this keeps happening with me ?

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are facing. I would like to know if you have tried resetting the Illustrator preferences as suggested by @Monika Gause? If yes and you are still facing the issue, I would request you to share a few more details like:

OS and version of Illustrator
When did this start happening? Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates, or web extensions installed recently.
Are you using multiple monitors?

When was your last computer restart?

Which system and version is it?

Did you already try rebuilding the preferences?

- My computer is shut off daily at the end of, but "restarting" rarely.
- i'm running on windows 10, and illustrator CC 23.0.3
- i'm sorry don't know what "rebuilding the preferences" mean, would you please explain it to me

Use the "rename folder" method so you can recover the old preferences in case it does not help
