Soo... I'm making a logo with illustrator and this keeps happening. I have tried selecting different outline styles but so far I had no luck. It's quite frustrating. Could anyone help, please?

How is that object constructed? Can you show a screenshot with it selected including the layers and appearance panels?

So each shape is many different groups overlaid on top of each other? Is that how it is supposed to be? What do you think is messing up here?

Each anchor point is inside an individual group. I have absolutely no clue of why that is, because that shape i created it from scratch, its not as if i vectorized a jpeg image or something....
Maybe when i expanded the shape it did that... i have no clue at all. But yeah, it's screwing the edges of the silhouette when i add an outline.... It's driving me crazy!

With the object selected change your corner (Verticé) to the sharp (Mitre joint) corner icon as shown in screen shot below:

Problem persists even when changing that setting

There are shapes on top of each other. You will need to use the layers panel to analyze the document and delete what you don't need.

How did you initially draw the shape and why did you expand it?

I did it using a jpeg image as background as a "guide".
I then created a new layer and did the path with the pen tool.
Then i made a selection of the path, and filled it and outlined it.
And then, i expanded it because it helped improve fitting with the letters since they were some overlapping. (i expanded both trace and letters).

Recreating your steps should create two objects (a shape for the outlined stroke, a shape for the expanded fill) in a group. It is difficult to imagine how you created dozens of groups this way. Are you sure you're not missing something? Can you recreate these steps?

Hi Ferrandinyo,
I would like to know if the steps suggested above worked for you, or the issue still persists.
Kindly update the discussion if you need further assistance with it.
Thanks,
