Illustrator not responding...won't launch app

This is very frustrating. I'm at work and have been on my mac for well over 2 years and this morning, the Illustrator app will not launch. It is stuck on the initializing window message. I restarted, and it STILL won't launch.

How the heck did this happen?! I haven't changed ANYTHING to my computer.

Try resetting preferences and/or resetting the OOBE folder:
