Illustrator opens Windows Explorer full screen

I recently upgraded to Windows 10. When opening a file from Illustrators home screen, it opens the Windows Explorer box full screen, and is not resizable. The double arrow appears on the bottom corner, but does nothing when dragged.

Any suggestions as to how resize the Explorer box?

It's maximized.

Double-click the title bar.

Please share a screenshot of the issue. Application frame is an option available on Mac only. It would really be helpful if you can show us the issue so that we can assist further.

It's just a full screen Windows Explorer box, as stated. Not resizable. It fills the screen after clicking the Open button on Illustrators home screen.
