Illustrator pathfinder glitch-weird lines form in only two letters-outlined file looks fine!

I am trying to create a band that is see-through using the pathfinder-knock out front. I am doing everything correctly--creating compund paths before knocking out but for some reason, the "T" and the "H" are getting a weird slash even though the outlined file looks fine. Please help if you can!

Does that weirdness go away if you turn on CPU preview in the View menu?

It does!! SO the artwork should print correctly? And thank you SO MUCH for your help. I have to create 20 of these labels.

Yes, usually it should print fine.

The GPU preview glitch in Illustrator is just a magnificent spectacle that pretends to be some serious maloperation. But it is not, it is just a trivial source of irritation, just as harmless as a grease spot on your eyeglasses that could make you believe that your counterpart is unusually deformed, although it is in good health.
