I have encountered an issue where Creative Cloud opens by itself and notifies me about Illustrator Preferences (see image below). It's the pop-up that comes up when uninstalling a program. The issue is however this pops up regardless of if I have Illustrator installed or uninstalled. It seems to happen every time I go out of fullscreen in any program.
I have tried reinstalling Creative Cloud, but it keeps happening. Has anyone had a similar issue?

Without any system info and other technical details nobody can tell you much. My guess would be that the preferences get damaged during a file scan by some external tools and as it is trying to "open" the file for scanning the CC helper service is triggered. Conversely, of course it could be any number of other things from the harddrive being damaged to some stray clipboard data causing an attempt to open AI for pasting. Impossible to know, but in my view the answer most definitely is outside the Adobe apps.

Hi, thanks for responding! Apparently whenever I actually have Illustrator installed, my pc won't let me uninstall or change any other program in Control Panel. So it seems you are probably onto something where something keeps triggering the uninstall screen. But I find it hard to think that it could be something other than Adobe causing it, since when I reinstall Creative Cloud, it is the first thing that pops up on my screen.
What information would you need to understand my issue more?
