Illustrator prevents Windows 11 from sleeping mode

Hi there. Illustrator prevents Windows 11 from sleeping mode. Instead, the screen goes off and the pc's fans run like crazy. Looked everywhere to find the solution to this issue with no luck. Any ideas?

The issue may have to do with Illustrator document is constantly trying to redraw what is on the screen somehow. I have the same issue, so I just save work and close the app when not in use.

Did you already reboot the computer and reset the preferences?

Is any file open?

Do you have any third party plugins installed?

No thrird party plugins. Rebooted many times, this issue occurs for months now. I have checked with InDesign, Photoshop, but it seems it's related to Illustrator only. Which preferences do you mean?

Illustrator sometimes just doesn't like itself.

Glad you could solve it!

It seems I have to reset preferences every time, though... Unfortunately after a while the problem occured again.
