Illustrator - "Undo" doesn't work

I have a fully updated version of CC running on OS X EL Capitan 10.11.6 and today the Undo doesn't want to work. It doesn't even work when I go through "Edit". This bug doesn't appear in the previous versions of the same file. I tried to use these and copy my stuf from the latest version in the old one but the bug appeared even there afterwards. The funny thing is that when I erase all the objects in the latest file the command Undo starts to work again. So I think this bug is linked to some geometry in the file.

Can anyone help me please?

I tryed this too. Once I modify some of the geometry it stops to work again. It is somehow connected to certain objects of the drawing. I think I will just use the recovery files. I will set it on 30 seconds and go to a previous version if needed.

Jan,

Did you try to replace your dynamic symbols with the static ones? This worked for me. Some other users have experienced the same, for example Re: What the hell is slowing down Illustrator
