Illustrator screen issues

Question

After updating to 29.3.1 the GUI brightness shifts quickly in illustrator. It ONLY happens in illustrator and it happens to the entire app interface, not just the artboard or pasteboard area. It's not a monitor issue or an OS issue. Has anyone else had this problem?

MacBook Pro 16in Model: Mac14,10 - M2 Pro

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. If I understand correctly, the screen brightness changes only for Illustrator, while everything else looks fine? That’s unusual behavior, but we're here to help!

If the issue still persists, as Monika mentioned, could you share more details—such as screenshots, whether it works better in a previous version, and if there was a recent OS update?
