Then maybe Customer Care has to take a look at this.

It might be an issue with your graphic card or its driver or some incompatibility

The file size is quite large, so please tell us about the object you applied the shadow to. And again: how is the raster effect resolution set up?

Do you mean the 72, 150, and 300 ppi?
I use the 300 ppi

I don't use the entire 4000 by 4000 pixels, only the middle.

I don't know if you can see the layer tree very well.

But simply this way,

There are 4 body poses (Direction) containing the same structures (so everything below will be multiplied by 4)

I applied the shadow to the skull (where every body pose/direction has 3 head turns, meaning 3 skulls per body pose/direction)

I applied the shadow to the hand poses (there are like 3 hand group on the right and 3 on the left, a total of 6). Where every hand group consist of 8 poses.

Sometimes, depending on the character, I applied shadow to the shirt as well.

There might be.

GPU acceleration does not work well for every card and driver under all circumstances. Customer Care can log into your system to check out stuff.

Specifically what operating system and what version of Illustrator are you using? Also, how are you creating your drop shadows? Are you using the drop shadow effect or creating a separate shadow as an image?

It's Windows 10 64 bit

Illustrator CC 2020 v24.1.2

I use the one on Stylize, Dropshadow effect

No extra image; applied straight to the layer.
