Hi all,
Thanks for taking the time to read this, my company will soon be running patch printing, we have been given a template that was from someone else, but needs amending onto our jig template.
I need to amend the positioning of the automated text box (right) as it isn't centre aligned. Can someone point me in the right direction as to how to move the automated text box? The left text box is linked (somehow) to the right box, so when I change the text on the left box, it will change on the right. Due to the position of the jig, I need to reposition the linked box.

I have done like this task before and here is my way to get the best result:
1- set the text alignment to center in the paragraph panel
2- Go to Effect menu -> path -> outline object
3- in the preferences setting ( Genera Tab ) Turn on " Use preview bounds
4- use the align panel ( select the rectangle as the key object to keep it in the same position and avoid the movement ) to align the text to the container which the rounded rectangle in your case.
