How do I get the tools tear-off button back? It has been replaced with a scrollbar that does nothing.

I don't have a scroll bar, I have a very skinny button to the right of the panel, is that what you're referring to?

Probably reset the preferences. Or maybe reboot the computer. That should be done regularly anyway.

Yes that thin arrow has been replaced with scrollbars.  Will see if resetting the preferences changes it back.
