Illustrator UI scaler is set on small and doesn't respond to clicks.

I just opened Illustrator, and it is too small to see.  It's my first time using the program, so I searched the internet for how to change the UI and found the preferences box.  However, the scaler is set on small and doesn't respond to clicks or trying to drag the slider.

I've already checked that I have a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 and the Scale or DPI setting is set to 100%. It doesn't make any difference.

I'm not impressed with adobe illustrator so far.  I can't even get started with it because the UI is way too small.  So annoying.  Can anyone help me solve this problem.  I'd like to be able to click on the UI scaler slider and move it until I can see the interface.  That seems like somthing basic that should work.  But if there is another way, I'm open to it.  Thank you in advance.

Hello @CindyCynthia,

Sorry to hear about your experience. I hope Ares's suggestions helped resolve the problem. If not, try changing the scaling for Illustrator by following the steps shared in this third-party help article (https://adobe.ly/4aZkgdz) to check if it helps.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav
