Illustrator v26.0.1 crash on launch - Windows - spot/proccess colour mismatch in file

I believe the issue stems from converting imported swatches from spot to process (since libraries automatically convert process to spot??) This means when I launch my file it asks to merge the swatches (the ability to add is greyed out) and when I accept, it crashes.

I've tried the older version of AI - no luck - and I've had to revert to an older version of my artwork losing hours of work in the process. Is Adobe going to fix the libraries issue where process colours are not supported?

Yeah, my apologies, but I don't know what you are saying.

By launch do you mean Illy wasn't running and you open the app?

Or do you mean you open a specific document?

And immediately it says it wants to merge swatches? Where is it getting the other swatches from? Are you pasting into the doc, placing a file?
