Illustrator v26.1 update fails

The Illustrator v 26.1 Update fails on every try. I am using macOS Monterrey 12.2.1 on an M1 Mac.

Looks like I have similar problems. It lags at every command.  I even talked to someone at Aobe support and they claim to have fixed the problem but it within 5 minute of our phone conversation it started doing it again!

Thanks Marlon! I did the same procedure but it doesn't work. Actually, it is happening only with Illustrator latest update. All the others updates worked pretty well.
