Illustrator v28 and after version glitchy zoom and scroll

Zooming with option key + scroll (trackpad or magicmouse) does not work well in Illustrator v28 and all later versions. It works erratically and vaguely. I expect it to work like the zoom animation when I use the zoom tool. When I upgrade to v27.9.6 (2023), it works fine.

Tested on macbook air m2, macbook pro m1, imac2020.

 

I hope for an improvement; until then, I have to use the old version.
