Illustrator - Vectorize old logo in photo

Question

Hello:

I have a logo of a heavy music group (only the name Hangover) in the attached image. I need to vectorize this image logo (only tha hangover name) with straight lines and proportionate measurements. Later I want to apply color border of each part as shown in photo and be able to put fire like photo in it's background. Which is the way to accomplish this?

Draw rectangles for the straight lines.And then see that you can figure out how to use ellipses, circles and round rectangles for the rest.The yellow lines can be achieved with using Object > Path > Offset path.When you have all the parts, then use Live paint to build the shapes. https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/live-paint-groups.html
