Illustrator version 28.0.0 overwrites existing files

Hi

I am working on a laptop with Windows 10 on it.

Illustrator version 28.0.0 overwrites existing file AdobeFnt_OSFonts.lst in:

1. C:\Users\xxXXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 28 Settings\en_US\x64
2. C:\Users\xxXXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\AIRobin 28.0.0 Settings\en_US\x64

xxXXXXX is username

Each time when Illustrator start up these files are overwritten 😞

I tried to change the rights of these files but nothing helps.

How can i stop this so i can make my own changes to these files, and keep them.

Or wil there be en update of illustrator so that these files will not be updated anymore

and also in the future!!

Hi Anshul,

sorry for the late response.

1. That is a long time ago, multiple years 😞

2. i did the next:

• Change FontName: ArialMT to Arial
• Change FontName: ArialMT-Black to Arial-Black

3. With ArialMT as FontName in the SVG the SVG will not show Aial because it is not a webfont
