Illustrator version

I am led to believe the official latest version of Illustrator is 29.8.1 (released August 2025). Somehow I have 29.8.2

Is anyone able to confirm either issue?

I haven't updated but I see v29.8.2 update in the CC App

perhaps it was released for the japanese market?

Thanks for checking in. As the experts suggested, the latest available version of Illustrator is 29.8.2, which can be accessed through the Creative Cloud desktop app. Depending on your geographical region, you may have received the update a little earlier than others, as releases are sometimes rolled out gradually across regions.

You're all set with the current version. Let me know if you notice any unusual behavior after updating.
