Only thing that can work on my illustrator CC 22.1 - 64 bit was .EPS and .AI formats. I try to start chat with adobe support and it seems they don't have any clue about it and end my conversations unresolved and out of my will. So I want to try my chances with you fellow users. Anyone who can survive this bug? Can't see the image I dragged it is like Outlined and if I try to embed the image it gives error. On some images drag and place won't do anything. Please help it was the most irritating bug I have seen.

Ok guys I think I found the problem, it seems AMD GPU made all of this trouble. I downgraded my GPU driver (because recently I am using an outdated GPU: R7 - 200 series 2048MB, new drivers slow the process) and all things work perfectly. Sorry for the Blame Adobe Family, But which is strange that I don't have any Driver or GPU problems in more complex programs like After Effects neither of any other Adobe Apps only on Illustrator. I think this GPU Preview is a little bit shifty. (Before you mention I already tried the CPU Preview when I'm having trouble times and won't work in it too.)

Thanks for your all kind responses.

Have a great day.

Have you tried opening these other formats using the open command under the File Menu? If that doesn't work then try trashing your Illustrator preferences.

To do so:

For Macintosh Users: With Illustrator closed launch a Finder Window in column view and click on your home folder. With the Option Key pressed choose Library from the Finder Go Menu. Within the Library folder find the folder called Preferences and within it find the following two files and delete them: “Adobe Illustrator <Version #> Settings” (earlier versions of Illustrator might just say “Adobe Illustrator”) and “com.adobe.Illustrator.plist”. When Illustrator is next launched it will create new preference files and the program will be restored to its defaults.

For Windows Users: You can try the quick way of resetting on a PC which is to hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift when launching Illustrator and respond affirmatively when asked if you want to reset. There have been some recent reports that the window asking if you want to reset is not popping up but that the prefs are being reset anyway. If this works great but if it doesn’t you may have to manually delete them.

To do so:

On Windows 7 and above the preference files are hidden. To find them go to the Control Panel and open Folder Options and then click the View tab. Then select “Show hidden files and folders” or “Show hidden files, folders or drive options” in Advanced Settings. Then delete (or rename) the folder at the end of this path: C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator [version number]\ Settings\<Language>. Make sure that Illustrator is closed when you do this. When you relaunch the program it will create  new preference files and the program will be at its default settings.

The advantage of manually deleting preference files is that after you’ve reset up the program (make sure that no document window is open) to your liking, you can create copies of your personalized “mint” preference files (make sure that you quit the program before copying them—that finalizes your customization) and use them in the future to replace any corrupt versions you may need to delete.

Thanks for the detailed response. I have deleted the Preferences and the other files in theese foldes. Problem still occurs. Unfortunately, I uninstalled all the previous versions and re-install the new version and problem stays still I think I will download 2017 CC and go on with it when this problem finds a solution. Again thanks for your fast and detailed help.

When you uninstall and reinstall make sure that you do it through the Creative Cloud Desktop app. The uninstall option can be found by clicking on the "V" to the right of the app name in the app section of the desktop app. Before reinstalling through that app make sure that you use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems .
