Hi, recently migrated to a new computer and the problems are endless.
Newest one is, when trying to save my work Illustrator says it can't find the file.
This happens when trying to overwrite or save as or exporting to any format; regardless of whether I am trying to write to local disk or network disk. The save progress on the tab shows about 25% when it displays the error.
I can save to the cloud to rescue my work.
Any thoughts on this?

Saving to a network is generally asking for trouble. https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/kb/illustrator-support-networks-removable-media.html
Are all your fonts checked?
In the other thread you wrote that you have 3 printers - please make sure that the default printer is selected. On Windows people have reported that they sometimes need to do this a couple of times for it to stick.
Do you have any third party plugins?
Is the filename without any special characters? Same goes for folder anems. Also they should not be too long.
The date of your computer is synched?
Is that a synchronized cvolume you are saving to (Googe Drive etc)?
Does Illustrator have full disk access?
And also there is sufficient space?

Monika, I'll try to reply point by point:
1) we need to work on the network, because it happens to be the best method for our team to work
2) The file had no fonts. Everything was vectored.
3) I'm not sure what you mean: where does it have to be selected. I am just saving my work.
4) no plugins
5) no special characters, though in my native language these occur often but thats only letters that don;t occur in english - for all other characters: rules apply as Windows demands them
6) the date is synched
7) I am saving to a local networked drive mapped on my pc, but the problem persisted when I tried to save to the pc's internal hard drive.
8) Its a new pc, plenty of space on the disk and I wouldn't even know how to limit access for Illustrator.
Either way, this issue never cane up on the old computer, which had less disk space, more competeing apps, the same printers, same general setup, plugged into the same network.

The printer needs to be set up in the system.
If you can't find the cause of your issue, have Customer Care log into your system and figure it out: http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html (you need to be logged into your account, chat is in the bottom right)

Ok, I guess I can try that.
Thanks for your help.

Hello @Marcin Wik,
Sorry to hear about this experience. Would you mind sharing some more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator installed on your computer, whether Illustrator also behaves this way with other files, and a screen recording of the problem so we can investigate this further?
Also, try running Illustrator under a different administrator account (macOS / Windows) and share your observations.
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Anubhav
