iMac - Adobe Creative Suite graphics issue

Hi there

I'm not sure how to describe this.  (see attachment)

Not just when using Illustrator, but Indesign.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please

The top image is a logo I'm working, the bottom one is a colour variation, but the colour is going beyond the paths I created.  It goes away when I scroll it out of view and back.
Thanks in advance.  For what its worth, I'm thinking its a graphics card issue.

My system
iMac Pro (2017)
Processor - 3.2 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon W
Memory - 32 GB 2666 MHz DDR4

Graphics Radeon Pro Vega 56 8 GB

Correct answer Monika Gause

Is it gone when you preview on the CPU?

If so, it's indeed a graphic card issue. Besides upating the graphic card driver, there's not a lot you can do about it. It also doesn't harm the output.

Hello @woodleigh,

Sorry to hear about this experience. I hope the suggestion shared by Monika helped resolve the problem. If not, kindly

try resetting Illustrator's preferences by following the steps shared in this article (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/troubleshoot-preference-issues.html) and sharing your observations.
Disclaimer: Please note that resetting preferences will remove all custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with the defaults. You may take a backup of these settings from the location mentioned in the article.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
Anubhav

Thanks Anubhav.
Monikas advice pinpointed that the issue is with my graphics card.
I'll endeavour to reset preferences also to see what impact that has, just to make sure.

Thanks for your response.

Thank you Monika.  Yes, it did go away when viewing on the CPU.
No, it doesnt affect output, thankfully which is why I've been able to persist with it for a while.
My next questions will be about graphics cards though 🙂
Thanks again for your reply.
