Image fitting problem on artboard with Illustrator 2017 with Windows 10

When I am trying to open an image using adobe illustrator it is opening in the previous document resolution. e.g. - My last document was 1000 x 1000 px. Then, after closing illustrator when I am trying to open an image (by right-clicking on the image using Windows context menu or by dragging and dropping) of resolution 1200  x 900  is not opening is the previous document resolution of 1000 x 1000 px and it is not fitting in the artboard, 1) The new image is getting out of the artboard 2) Or, the image is becoming small. But, every time I had closed the previous document and had tried to open a new document. PC specs. - Illustrator CC 2017 32 bit, Windows 10 64 bit, Intel i3 9100 F. Nvidia GeForce GT 710.
