A large community of artists, graphic designers in the Indian subcontinent uses Adobe Illustrator. However, it is currently not possible to use Indic fonts to their full extent. Particularly the conjoined alphabets in Hindi, Marathi and Sanskrit such as श्च, द्य, त्र्यं etc is not supported.

Does the latest update support the use of these alphabets? If not, when is it expected? Is there an alternate way to use these alphabets in Illustrator without having to resort to third party solutions?

Adobe Illustrator version of *iPad Pro*.

Hi,

Thank you for your email. Unfortunately the link you shared is not working.
I should’ve mentioned that I am trying to use Indic characters on the iPad
version of Adobe Illustrator. I apologise for mentioning this late. Could
you please help me with this specific issue?
