Interior Crops

anyone know of a script that will create interior crops like the attached? I have to create these many times a day manually, and a script would be a huge timesaver!

I don't understand what you are asking for. Drawing an angle iron at the top-left corner of an artboard? Or something else?

Your screenshot does not explain anything, as far as I can see. Can you elaborate?

So maybe something like this; a Symbol with 9 slice scaling. But it needs to be manually applied:

Given that Carlos' guess is true, it could also be done with a simple action or a graphic style.

Moreover, there is already a pretty versatile script by Sergey Anosov that can do it with appropriate settings (see example below).

The script is available for Illustrator and InDesign.
