Hi,
I'm on Illustrator CC 22.0.1. The Intersect Guides are not displaying anymore.
How can I display them again?
Is there an option in the preferences?
Thanks

If you are not seeing the little "Intersect" or "Path" text tip pop up when moving and scaling shapes to align to a guide, the canvas, or another shape, this is the solution!

Hi, thank you. But it doesn't work on my end. Are there any other options?
Thanks.

Hi @MaFala,
If enabling Smart Guides (Ctrl+U / Cmd+U) doesn’t resolve the issue, here are a few more steps to try:
1. Check Smart Guide Settings
Go to Edit > Preferences > Smart Guides (Windows) or Illustrator > Preferences > Smart Guides (Mac). Ensure that Alignment Guides and Object Highlighting are enabled.
2. Ensure you’re zoomed in close enough to see the guides. Smart Guides may not be as noticeable at lower zoom levels.
3. Verify that the layers or objects you’re aligning to are visible and unlocked. Smart Guides won’t work on hidden or locked elements.
4. If the issue persists, reset Illustrator’s preferences: (Reset Guide).
5. Create a new document to see if the issue is specific to a particular file.
If none of these steps work, please share additional details about your setup, such as the Illustrator version and operating system. Let us know how it goes!
Best,
Anshul Saini
