I have a logo, i simply want to invert the colors, make the background blue and the text writing white. i tried to use the fill bucket tool, but i get this error

The selection contains objects that cannot be converted. Live Paint groups can only contain paths and compound paths. Clipping paths are not allowed.

For more information on how to convert text, images, and other types of artwork into a form allowed inside Live Paint groups please see Help

Do you know why it wont let me choose a blue color, its only giving me the option for white and transperant

Just click on that color palette button, then you can set up your color to your needs.

Hello @r37916767avy7,

Thanks for reaching out. The logo in the file shared seems to be rasterized. To make the changes, you must either use the original vector file or convert it to a vector format using Image Trace (https://adobe.ly/3xgtmUn).

Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks,
Anubhav

If you traced it with the ignore color option, expand the trace, ungroup the result, just select it to apply a color.

No need to use Live Paint (or the Live Paint fill bucket).

Thanks for the advice, where is the ignore color option? i cant see any options when from the object > image trace option
