Is it possible to give a shape a solid border but a semi transparent fill?

I'm wanting to have the border of my shades set to a solid 100%, but the fill colour to be set to 30% transparent. Is there a way to do this because if there is I'm not seeing it.

Many thanks.

look at the appearance palette with your shape selected. you should be able to see bot the fill and stroke as discrete elements and edit their transparencies separately there. use the little arrow to the left of them to open out the options.

Sorry, it's Illustrator. I'd come in via the Help link and made an assumption that I was posting to an Illustrator forum

Moved out of the Forum Lounge (not for technical support) and over to the Illustrator forum.
