Is it possible to have 2 versions of illustrator in 1 computer?

I have an issue with the software I bought recently. I downloaded it, and I couldn't use it on illustrator 2022 (the latest version)...

They told me the software Compatible versions of Adobe Illustrator are CS4, CS5, CS6, CC, CC2014, CC2015, CC2017, CC2018, CC2019, CC2020, and CC2021.

I wonder if I'm able to have both CC2022 & CC2021 to be on 1 MacBook pro? If possible, can anyone let me know how to do that. As I remember previous, I can have both different versions of Photoshop in my Macbook running?

Thank you in advance!

You should be able to run both. Simply install the older version using the Creative Cloud desktop app, when viewing the All Apps list. After installing, they will be listed separately in your Applications folder.

If you did it properly, you should have two separate versions listed on your Mac, in both the Mac Applications folder…

…and in the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Two things to check. First in your Creative Cloud app, in the preferences go to "Apps" and scroll all the way down to enable Settings "Show Older Apps"
When you install a New version Option/Alt klick the Install so that you can uncheck "remove older versions"

Yes you can install multiple versions of Illustrator on the same computer. Adobe supports the last two major versions and provides download for them via the Creative Cloud Desktop app. See the following article on instructions on how to do that, make sure that you uncheck the uninstall installed version option when presented to you.
