Is it possible to import a .svg path into Illustrator?

I have a .svg path which looks like this:

Is it possible in some way to import it to Illustrator? With the intention to edit it.

Save it as a valid SVG file and open it - have you tried that?

I can't try it out right now. But will answer when I've tried
As I understand, I just have to save that precise code that I have posted in a text file with the .svg extension?
