Is it possible to import vectorial images from Fireworks? I have a few old designs to which I want to replace the contour lines with other sharper and more captivating... here is an example of what I would like to do:



Is it possible? How can I do?

If those are Fireworks PNG, then you will have to open them in Fireworks first and export to a vector format that Illustrator supports.

Since Fireworks can have Pixel and vector in its files, you will have to try it out how the files get exported to e.g. PSD or PDF and check if that works.

Yes I have fireworks.

I can export vectors but the borders can be used to being converted into cool strokes?

So Cool strokes is the example of what you are showing above?

That could be achieved with variable width strokes or brushes in Illustrator

What kind of files are they? Do you still have access to Fireworks?
