Is there a keyboard shortcut to select different lines of text within a text box?

Hi,

I am looking to see if there is a way to select text on different lines. For reference, it's like what you do in MS Word when you highlight text, then hold CTRL or CMD and highlight text on a seperate line so you can set the highlighted text to have the same properties (ie. bold, italics, line spacing...etc.). I want to do something similar in illurtator since I am working on a journal with speaker tags, but it a nucence to keep having to highlight each speaker tag individually and use the eyedrop tool for every single tag...

Any advice?
