Is there a script or something that will create a Pantone book? (Leaving everything as spot)

I want to create an Ai document(s) with all of the Pantone solid coated swatches, with their name below it.

Any help  would be greatly appreciated!

Hey what da ya know. This one stil works…

and it looks like I can't attach a file to this post.

The script name is JET_SwatchesLegend.jsx if you or someone else can find it post a link because this script still works in CS5.

You are not able to load swatch libraries in Illustrator scripting like you can in InDesign… So in short the answer would be No… In this a case scripting is not going to be able to help you… You can create and work with spot colors but you would not have access to the PMS look ups…

Well, forget  Pantones for a sec, let me rephrase the question: "Is there a way to  make a colour book using all of the swatches in my document (no matter  what they are).

JET used to have a bunch of Swatch scripts JET_SwatchesLegend but this was for CS3 and I don't know if he ever made them available for CS5. If you are looking for an easy way to list swatchs with spot color names in you illustrator file this might be the way to go. I have used them in CS3 and the work well for making spec sheets when designing.
