Is there a tutorial anywhere for a geometric logo like this one?

Hello,

I want to make something similar to this. Does anyone know of a tutorial about making something like this? What I'm struggling with is how to get the negative space lines on the inside to be all lined up like that. I've looked through youtube but I can't seem to find anything helpful. Thank you.

the key here for me was recognising it as a 'grid' of triangles:

once you get there, you can use the shape builder tool, or simply delete sections until you have what you want.
