Is there anyway to create interactive graphs in Illustrator?

I am playing around with interactive microsites for my company. We have a lot of data we want to display and have basic interactivity included in our graphs. I am messing around in Infogram which is great, but I would rather work in Illustrator. Anyone know if there is a way to make it work (some tool I am missing)? Thanks.

The long answer is no. The SVG interactivity panel might have somehow worked years ago, but nowadays not so much.

Thanks. That was what I suspected. I played around a bit with the SVG interactivity but it wasn't meant for what I want to do.
