Issue / Question creating uniform Drop Shadow

I have two objects I wish to apply a drop shadow to. It doesn't matter to me if they are combined / merged or separate. When they are combined, The drop shadow effect is not even across the design; the thinner parts of the design have a much weaker drop shadow. When they are separate from each other, I can manually match them. But where the two parts intersect / meet, there is a noticable space in the drop shadow. I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong or how to fix this.

I assembled the parts using the Shape Builder Tool.

I gave shadow but not blur.

Increase the blur effect using small values.

It seems that the shadow is not enough due to the line thickness.

Excellent question, everyone encounters this at least once in their career. Looks like you have more than one drop shadow effect on your logo.

1. Remove all your drops shadow effect
2. Group all your white objects, into one compound path
   (You may need to outline strokes and use pathfinder)
3. Apply a drop shadow at the group level.
   
   Use your appearance palette to confirm where you are applying the effect to

I agree with Mike. If you Group the objects before applying the shadow, the Effect will be applied to the entire Group as a single unit. So you will not run into the issues you're experiencing with your shadows.
