Issue with Adobe Ilustrator viewing vector images

New Here ,
Oct 25, 2017 Oct 25, 2017

When pulling a vector image into Illustrator the image comes in distorted with a feathered edge. When I go to save it as another format the file turns out clear. Is there something wrong in my settings?

1-      This is the EPS file in illustrator

Apple Vector.JPG

2-      This is the JPG version after saved in Illustrator

Thank you! Is there a way to default to CPU in your settings so when I open my documents in Illustrator it automatically views this way?
