Issue with white outline

As I was using Illustrator white outlines began appearing on my objects. I have tried setting Outline Width to zero and making new shapes. The outline remains on old shapes and appears with new shapes.

Thanks for sharing the details and the screen recording. Could you please check if the stroke color is set to white and try changing it? It's also possible that this is just a display artifact rather than an actual stroke. Please try switching between GPU and CPU preview by going to View > View Using GPU or View Using CPU and see if the outlines disappear. Also, check under the View menu if Overprint Preview or Pixel Preview is turned on, and turn them off if they are.

If the issue still persists, try disabling GPU Performance under Illustrator > Preferences > Performance and restart Illustrator once to see if that clears it up.

Let me know if this helps or if the outlines still appear after trying these steps.

I think it was to do with the file, because I simply copied my work to another file which solved the problem and stopped them from returning. Thank you for the suggestions though, they could help me if it happens again.
