After almost a year of wondering and pondering there is something new to work on, Kurt, and also a riddle.
The ends of the (hoist) belts/straps (neither sheets nor bars) seem to have been simply pulled up over the top.
Also different wires have appeared, including the ones at the bottom and the remote realease/control.
I am still convinced that we are looking at something different to optical transmission, and that the shiny container holds more than fuel for thought. Still the lightness of the quadropod is almost worrying.
And my bothersome (to some) level of memory tells me something about mirroring.

Jacob, the belts actually were used as danger signals, placed about 10 to 15 metres away from the thing. Accidentally entering this area caused to force quit the thing.

A siren, Kurt?

It was certainly noisy, but it was not a siren, Jacob.

Apparently now it is there on the moon as well.
Did you book a return flight, Jacob?

Right you are, Kurt.
As has (almost) been said before:
We seek it here,
We seek it there,
Some of us seek it everywhere.
I hope for a safe return flight, still relying on own custom built equipment; you may have spotted the boot toes and the end of the ladder of the landing gear, visible at the bottom of the picture, as I noticed after posting.
By the way, I have also tried to have a look for (another samnple of) the space probe/thing up here, so far in vain.

Tree of Hearts – 31.12.2024

Tree of Hearts indeed, Kurt.
I have never seen anything like it.

The heart forming plants at the stem are ivies, embracing a very old oak that may die soon, Jacob.

We have an abundance of ivies, and they can be really hard on (still) living hosts here too Kurt; in those cases we try to cut them in time.
Notably, they are usually covering our terrace like a green carpet even well into the winter, where they are very dear to the roe deer,

Some years I cut the whole carpet loose and drag it off for compost, then let them start over.
This autumn they all suddenly withered, so Bella was lying on a rather thin brown carpet when it began to be here a good month ago.
But we have never seen ivy leaves with white rims.

Another heart today.

Heart or heartbreaking or both, I wonder.
Hopefully, this tree will keep surviving.

@Jacob Bugge you can have all the snow! Granted, we do need snow to fill our resevoirs for the water supplys and dams! Where I live, the city shuts down and there are so many bad drivers... many drivers don't even add winter tires! But, that's a different story!

Your good wish reminds me of the third post at the very beginning here, explorer,

I believe snow is more enjoyable outside cities for a few reasons.
