Question

Items in repeating pattern become invisible when launching Illustrator

Hello,

I've been having a weird problem with Illustrator lately. I made a file with a few shapes in it that repeat in a grid pattern. When I close the program and open the file again, those shapes become invisible for some reason. I can still hover over them and see the outline, and when I click on one of the repeated shapes it becomes visible again until I close and open Illustrator again.

It's not a major bug because it's easy to make the shapes appear again but it's annoying to have to click on the shapes everytime I need to open the file again.

I am on the latest update of the program (27.1) but the bug already appeared when I was still working in 27.0.1.

Maybe copy and paste into a new document?

If that does not help, you may want to send a bug report:

That unfortunately didn't work, thanks for your help though! I'll report the bug.

Does changing the Preview from GPU to CPU Preview work (Cmd or Ctrl E)?

No, unfortunately that doesn't change it.
