Jagged edges to curves when printing from Illustrator and Indesign

Hi Adobe Community,

I'm hoping that someone can help me. I recently bought a new printer and frustratingly when I print from both illustrator and indesign any curved lines are jagged. I've updated the printer drivers. I've updated to the newset version of the illustrator etc. Is there something I'm missing/doing wrong?

I'll attach some photos so you can see.
