Joining two paths together

Hello,

 

I have joined two circles together using the Shape Builder Tool however, one curved of the line has not  been included and I can't seem to join two seperate paths together. Can someone help me please!Screenshot 2021-12-07 at 11.46.29.png

Instead of trying to fix it, just go back and redo it, remove the 2 lines with the shapebuilder tool and the Alt key pressed.

Thanks for that! I am now left with this..

I'm trying to fill the outer circles with colour and the inner circle will be left without a colour as the design may be going against a coloured background. Can you help with this?

Hi, if I were you I would also try put the shapes in position and use the devide (pathfinder tools) and then cut the paths not needed.
